Sažetak
The distribution of family clans in medieval towns can be analysed from social, economic, political or demographical perspectives. In the paper the autor trace the political circumstances which shaped ownership of city land and distribution of noble clans in medieval Trogir (Trau) from the thirteenth to the fifteenth centuries, in order to analyse the intersection of familial and communal interests in the shaping of urban environments.
