Sažetak
Standardized pathological evaluation of neck dissection specimen is presented. Standardization in terminology of neck dissection as well as in lymph node groups is essential. Some useful hints in surgical and pathological handling and examination of the neck dissection specimen are suggested. A close collaboration between the head and neck surgeon and the pathologist is advocated.
