Sažetak
The system for measurement of solar radiation components, installed on the Faculty of Electrical Engineering of the University of Split, has recently started to operate. The main objective of this research is to obtain comprehensive solar radiation data allowing estimation of true solar energy potential in the region. Solar radiation components are measured by multipyranometer array (MPA), consisting of four differently orientated pyranometers. Two MPAs are installed, one consisting of thermopile, and the other of semiconductor pyranometers. Global and diffuse irradiation of horizontal surface is also measured. Other objectives of the research are comparison of solar radiation components obtained from two different MPAs and verification of the results with orthodox measurements (global radiation on horizontal surface and diffuse radiation measured with pyranometer with shadow ring). In order to obtain reliable data, long-term measurement is required, and here we present results acquired during the first month of measurement.
