Sažetak
In this article the foundations of the limit load analysis and its applications in structural design are presented. For the easier comprehension of efficiency of the presented theory, the analysis is limited on a so-called elastic-perfectly plastic material as well as the simple examples. In the cases of the statically indeterminate structures, the finite element method has been used.
