Sažetak
The goalkeeper's playing does not contain many technical elements, but because of the specific function of this player every single movement has to be performed optimally. According to the common principle of setting up requiring goalkeeper's frontal plane to be perpendicular towards a shooting direction the defensive movements have to be performed in frontal plane as well. The essence of the goalkeeper's game consists of adduction and abduction. We will orientate research towards recognising the optimal position of the goalkeeper according to the kinematical analysis his basic defensive movements. In order to resolve problems due to the numerical complexity of the calculation of the optimal positioning it was necessary to develop an algorithm and specific computer software.
