Sažetak
In recent years, computer and information technologies have become increasingly used in academic institutions for teaching purposes. In order to enhance the teaching process, interactive computer programs simulating and visualising different sport activities have been used and incorporated in existing course of Biomechanics. The aim of this study is to describe and to demonstrate the use of these programs focusing on the ski-jumping activity. According to physical model of ski-jumping which is used to simulate the activity, an analysis of influence of different variables, like approach velocity, ski-jumper's mass, skijumper's position angle, etc., on the final performance is given. The results have shown that in order to perform longer jumps, ski-jumper must gain from approach and take-off velocity and properly change his position angle with time. Also reviewed is the technology used for simulation and visualisation of different sports performances.
