Sažetak
The paper deals with software metrics for a rapid development methodology that includes incremental build and time-boxing approaches. The metrics program is aimed to provide a model, method and tool for measuring the performance of operations and continuous improvement of processes. The metrics framework is focused on four initial goals: software quality, lead-time, delivery precision and cost covering specific features of rapid development. Three major steps in developing the metrics program are: definition of a development model, application of Goal/Question/Metric paradigm for establishing metrics program, and estimation of an effort and schedule required to develop a software product. Discussed are case studies and problems reflected on a development speed and efficiency.
