Sažetak
As one of the tests for nonlinearity the fractal dimension for different secondary structure elements of proteins (alfa-helices and beta-sheets) was calculated.It was shown that fractal dimension may be used to discriminate an alfa-helice from beta-sheet.It was also shown that embedding of the structure can produce an attractor type behaviour.
