Sažetak
Vincenzo Maria Coronelli, one of the most prominent cartographers, has an exceptionally great number of works behind him: an atlas, portulans and numerous maps edited as separated issues. The east Adriatic, as a millenary passageway between Europe and Mediterranean, is the most frequent theme of his works. In spite of it, Coronelli's opus is very poorly explored in our country, this being particularly true for his atlas. In this paper a more detailed analysis has been made of a part of metrological data first (wind-roses and measuring system), and then of the eight maps which are very important for the history of the east Adriatic aquatorium and the surrounding territories.
