Sažetak
Forest land in Croatia covers 43.5 % of the state teritory. 84% of the forest land is covered with forest vegetation whilw the rest comprises of diferent classes of non-coveredd land. In terms of timber production, it should be amphasised that a large part of the forest area belongs to the karst region (42%). The structure of forest products production and their distribution on home market and export will be presented. Import of forest products into the Republic of Croatia will be presented also.
