Sažetak
Croatian economy is in the phase of searching for new development roads and improving existing ways of functioning. Partly it is a logical consequence of changed economical and geopolitical circumstances surrounding economical policy. Partly the come out of certain corrections of existing economical instruments and mechanisms. To be able to grow in such circumstances national economy has to establish such relations between crucial economic categories and economical sectors that have tendencies toward dynamic balance of whole economical system. Considering that, the paper shows and works out in detail basic economical indexes of Croatian national economy with special regards on wood processing, furniture and paper industry. Some trends regarding wholeness of forestry-wood processing complex will be shown in light of global movements of economic activities.
