Sažetak
The research has been carried out in order to contribute to the knowledge of mechanisms of rapid setting of the calcium aluminate cement (CAC) and the development of rapid setting and hardening cement materials.The influence of the cations and anions of alkali metal salts on rapid setting and hardening of CAC has been studied and a contribution to the explanation of their influences has been given.The strength changes of the materials hydrated at different temperatures have been studied, along with the conversion process of the hydrated calcium aluminate at 60 °C by differential scanning calorimetry.
