Sažetak
Numerous literature data have confirmed that fertilisation highly contributes to eliminating high differences in the natural and production abilities of different soils. The problem of acid soils is often stressed to be one of the major reasons for limited yields and as such is often discussed. The paper relied on results obtained from stationary trials with the application of differing fertilisation modes and amending acid soil measures taken. Both results and conclusions drawn clearly pointed at sustainability of certain fertilisation systems when growing corn on acid soils, particularly in terms of amending acid soils and efficiency of the fertilisers being applied. Amending measures for pseudogley positively influenced agrochemical properties of the soil and increased corn yield significantly statistically on all the research localities. The effect of the mineral fertilisers on the corn yield was found to be higher when interacted with amelioration measures, with a larger amounts of the fertilisers on single localities not exerting yield due to unfavourable and uneven water-air soil properties so eliminating the efficiency of larger fertiliser doses.
