Sažetak
The submitted paper proposes a method of evaluation of projects of both the small-scale and the large-scale furniture production in five various districts of Slovakia. On the base of the technical coefficients of inputs and outputs and their market prices in districts, expected net annual cash-flows for each project were calculated in the presented analysis. Then an economic analysis of investment projects in each district was carried out. The measure of the internal rate of return was used, and, according to its level, equal to the social discount rate, economic prices of production outputs were derived. The obtained results can provide information for government institutions when deciding wheter to subsidize furniture production in a particular district or not.
