Sažetak
Aggressive behavior is one of symptoms of alcohol addiction. The aim of our research is to investigate the structure of aggressive behavior in patients with alcohol addiction. A group of patients was interviewed by structured clinical interview based on DSM IV criteria for alcohol addiction (N=64). Aggression rating scale A-87 was applied to explore aggression level. Our results show that patients with alcohol addiction showed higher level of verbal latent aggression as well as verbal manifest aggression, opposite to lower levels of physically manifest aggression, physically latent aggression, and indirect aggression. In conclusion, our results suggest that patients with alcohol addiction have specific structure of aggression.
