Sažetak
In this paper the known linear bearing force-velocity model has been used for stability analysis of Laval rotor in cylindrical fluid film bearings. Equations that are describing dynamic behaviour of rotor dynamic system have been numerically solved by standard computational program. Thus the influence of damping coefficients on the dynamic response has been investigated and the regions of stability in case of bearings with cavitating film have been determined.
