Sažetak
In two experiments a difference between semantic and syntactic processing in healthy adult speakers was sought using event-related potentials. The relevant potentials were obtained by manipulating semantic and syntactic congruence of the target word into the sentence context. These two experiments served as a basis for the discussion about the usage of event-related potentials in diagnostics of language disorders, especially specific language impairment. It was claimed that there is a difference both in latency and amplitude as well as current distribution in SLI children.
