Sažetak
Obliteration of the pulp chamber is a frequent reaction to trauma. A late post-traumatic symptom of a pulp chamber calcification is a graduate assuming of a yellowish colour of the tooth crown. A radiographic image reveals either partial or a total calcification of the pulp cavity. Yet only a small percentage develops a periapical inflammation. A 13 year boy with a traumatic anamnesys (1994.) refered with a symptom of yellow darkening of an upper left incisor. Clinical examination showed a clean and intact teeth with a healthy gingiva with no exemption of upper central incisors. The upper left incisor showed a yellowish change in colour and translucency. A diagnosis included reflecting and transmitting inspection light through crowns showing difference in shade and intensity of transmitted light. A cold spray and electric impulse vitality testing showed a postponed and lessened but slight reaction to impulses of the left with a possibility of a false reaction and a normal reactivity of the right incisor. Radiographic examination of the upper left incisor showed obliteration of the pulp chamber but no obliteration of the rest of the endodontic space and no periradicular pathology. The x-ray of the upper right incisor showed small rounded calcification in the pulp chamber with no other differences. The absence of other subjective symptoms but a slight yellowish change of colour of the left incisor led us to no endodontic therapy but to the decision to prolong the moment of the endodontic treatment and to perform examinations once a year.
