Sažetak
Software lies at the core of telecommunication's systems. The ability to manage the development and maintenance of increasingly complex and business critical software is one of the biggest challenges for telecommunication equipment factory. There are many initiatives in this area where the final way will be Total Quality Management (TQM). The investments into organisation capability have to be optimal with the most effective achieved benefits. SEI Capability Maturity Model (CMM) and its applications gives the possibility for effective improvements. This paper deals with the improvement approach at Ericsson Nikola Tesla, Software Design Centre. It describes main reasons for its CMM based project improvement as apart of TQM upgrading.
