Sažetak
The dynamics of the progression of the results in athletics is characterised by certain cyclic oscillations. These oscillations are connected with the Olympic Games and with the role that they have in sport. The Olympic Games represent an incident of aspecial encounter of various training systems and of the theory and practice of sport conditioning applied in certain countries.
