Sažetak
The work of Edo Murtić has long since become a part of art history. Nevertheless, almost every season or very frequently of least, they are once more affirmed with their immediacy contemporaneity and vitality. For over fifty years , this painter has passionatly approached motifs, the canvas, motivation and paper, and particularly the very frame of the painters experimentation, which is also the arena of angular contrasts and place for harmonized reconciliacion between polarized currents. In Croatian culture, the name Edo Murtić is almost synonymus with the abstract, with free, subjectless non-figurative painting. With this cycle, Murtić has successfully turned yet another page without the pretence of definitivniess, and particularly without the manerism of petrification.
