Sažetak
The widespread adoption of digital technologies is leading to profound changes on the way we live today. New media are reshaping contemporary experience from the ways people think about home and community to how they work, learn, and participate in public life. The growing awareness of ecological dependence between man and the environment in which he lives is increasingly present. Sustainable architecture celebrates the connection between our build and natural environments, enhances communities, minimizes the impact of design and construction on finite natural resources, and fosters our physical and emotional well-being. On the other side, there is little doubt that "intelligent homes" are the future of architecture. We see the fusion of sustainability and ICT (Information and communication technology) as a right way to future development – and that is Smart architecture.
