Sažetak
This paper describes the conceptual solution of the Integrated Drava Information System (IDIS) in the region of the Drava river basin in Croatia and Hungary. The IDIS system is based on the integration of the geographic information system and databases with calibrated mathematical simulation models of various processes in the basin. Prospective users of this system would benefit by a fast and efficacious access to the quality and actual basic data. These data would be applied during the elaboration of land using plans, of water management bases and plans, of conceptual solutions and projects of various water structures, of environmental studies and of water system management projects in the basin.
