Sažetak
Emphases is placed in the design of new schemes, notwith standing the fact that a major part of the work of the modern irrigation engineer will consist of the rehabilitation and modernization of erxisting scheme, which are, however, more difficult to plan and design because the existing hydrauluc infrastructure, even when not the optimal one, has to be taken into account.
