Sažetak
The first purpose of this research was to find out do children from 8 to 10 years old, from different countries like Croatia and Finland, identify appropriate or not appropriate voices as well as do they abuse their voices. Results showed that 24 girls are generally better in identification voice quality tasks and they avoid more vocal abuses than 16 boys regardless from where they come from. Between children from different countries differences in voice tasks achievement exist but they are not so big as a differences in relation to gender of children. Because the child’ s awareness of his own voice status and feeling of excitement when child abuses own voice is still insufficient field of researching the second purpose of this research is also to find differences and similarities in Croatian and Finish children in their identification and understanding own voice status regarding their different social-economical and educational environment.
