Sažetak
The experiences in audio and video broadcasting indicate that some of operations in sound processing do not require such a stringent level of protection against the background noise as is specified by most standards and codes of practice. A method aimed at the assessment of rationally acceptable background noise levels in sound processing areas is elaborated and some early results are reported.
