Sažetak
In the article by Spector and Bachman, we read the following: "Only 11 other cases of patients with both progressive anhidrosis and Adie's tonic pupil, have been reported." We would like to call your attention to our study of a case with this syndrom. We report the case of a young woman's pupillotonia with reduced sweating over the left half of her trunk and left upper extremity. Optical and electron microscopy of the skin revealed no pathological changes. Neurophysiological examination of the excitability degree of motoneuron and muscle spindle proved reduced excitability of the alpha-motoneuron. Our observation confirme the role of disorder in the intercalary neurons of the spinal chord.
