Sažetak
Two public opinion surveys about renewable energy sources were performed in the cities of Rijeka and Zagreb, Croatia, and Reading, UK. The comparative analysis of the results indicates similarities between the two surveys in the form of a strong interest for a greater RES use in general, but also a poor awareness of the benefits of biomass and bioenergy, leading to the conclusion that there is a strong need for starting educational programmes.
