Sažetak
In this study a series of wind tunnel experiments were made to evaluate the potential for drift reduction when using various modified tips of hydraulic flat fan nozzles. Two different sizes of conventional, low drift and low pressure flat fan nozzles were tested, represnting a range of nozzles commonly used. Results of measured drift volumes are expressed as a percentage of nozzle output. Results from this paper were shown that different design of hydraulic flat fan nozzles has a large impact on spray drift potential. Drift from the smaller nozzles (02-110) was greater than from the larger ones (04-110). The results also indicated that the drift was increased by increasing spraying pressure. In naddition to that, the lowest drift was obtained from 04-110 low drift and 04-110 low pressure nozzles.
