Sažetak
A brief overview of the benchmarking process and its origins/roots in TQM was provided. Stages of a typical market survey research process were described using the results and procedures from the "Survey of Croatian schools ICT infrastructure status/utilization", which was used as a case study. Ten indicators were developed for European wide comparisons.
