Sažetak
As a research institution, Institute for Tourism (IT) is involved in basically two types of research projects. IT regularly produces commissioned studies, which vary from one another covering a relatively broad selection of topics. The Institute also work on research projects, which generally involve the analysis of time series, forecasting and market research. In November 1997, the Institute has become a user of SAS software, which has met a set of very strictly outlined performance limitations and conditions. The Institute goal in the forthcoming short-term period are the initiation of a project on the forecasting of tourism flows in Croatia, as well as the setting up Web site allowing the on-line use of tourism related data bases available at the Institute, thus, in effect, making information another one of the Institute's projects.
