Sažetak
Execution of construction projects should be viewd as a complex task involving technical, economic and organisational structure. The execution will be most succesful if maximum effects are achieved in these areas. However, construction organisation can not be viewed apart from technology as there is a direct correlation producing optimum solutions only if both technology and organisation are at an optimum. Realisation of optimum solutions is feasible through implementation of successfull project management, with monitoring of results making an important part of it. In order to achieve optimum results in construction, it is important to monitor the construction by means of an information system designed to facilitate decision making and thus regulate the execution of construction projects. Various monitoring models have been studied, controlling individual criteria and data through application of variety of information systems. The study discusses information systems suitable for execution of construction projects, ranging from modified systems of simple control to the complex "KUP" system (control, management, prognosis).
