Sažetak
The paper deals with the phenomenon of telework. Telework, as a new way of doing business, is the result of requirements for maximum flexibility in terms of location and time. Telework is able to meet the demands of modern business requirements and the ongoing competition in the global market place. The only problem is that the concept is still not completely defined. Current telework terminology causes problems if it focuses only on the remote location where individual workers operate. Consequently, current quantifications of teleworkers are very rare. The paper tries to define the concept of telework and compare its use in Croatia with countries of the European Union.
