Sažetak
The honeybee-colony represents itself as a well-organised organism. Queen, worker bees and drones living very close together where each partner takes over part of the duties to be done for the sake of the colony. A lot of bees takes over general tasks eg. collecting pollen, nectar etc. Others are - during part of their lifetime - just some specialists (Undertaker, looking for irregularities inside the closed brood-cel.) The genetical basis of this kind of “ living close together” forms the conglomerate of up to 25 groups of super sisters. The worker bees within one group of super sisters being on the average related to 75% (identical sperms from one Drone and half sisters as daughter of the queen). The other groups of super sisters within the colony are “ just” half-sister (daughter of the queen, but a sperm from an unrelated drone ; related to 25%). The possibilities to breed with this conglomerate are restraint compared with a “ normal diploid living being” . - The drones produced are just representatives of the colony’ s queen. - Each queens raised is just “ one of the worker bees” , But in nature the number of queens successfully initiating a new colony is very limited. These facts build restraints towards the possibilities to breed successfully with honeybee colonies because the measured quality of each colony is the sum of the genetic load of all worker bees being active during the year and the queen.
