Sažetak
Key problems and issues in the contemporary researches of delinquent behaviour in children and youth are not essentially different than those in the early twentieth century. Reaearchers are still focused on issues like: what are the factors of the occurence of delinquent behaviour in childhood and ist continuation in the adult age, can juvenile delinquency be prevented, what are the features of efficient prevention programmes etc. What has changed the most is the approach to studying these and similar research issues: the awareness of the rights of the child has challenged the justification of the so-called classic experimantal researches in the area of prevention, so what alternative approaches bagan developing, in which not the "risky" individuals are observed but the intire risky communities. This work will present and analize 10 classic and contemporary longitudinal researches of the delinquent behaviour in youth. On the basisi of their comparison (1) a paradigm of contemporary researches of delinquent behaviour and (2) pre-requisites for efficient programmes aimed at preventing delinquent behaviour will be proposed.
