Sažetak
The goal of this article is to present the positive and negative aspects of tourism. Developing countries such as Croatia often tend to think of tourism as the perfect way to salvation and prosperity neglecting the downsides of this branch of industry. This was the leading taught that we followed in this text, so we showed some most common misconceptions of tourism and gave guidelines how to avoid them and how to properly manage tourism and it's impacts so that the negative sides are reduced to a minimum.
