The seminar have discussed the methodology for decision-making at ship/structure concept design level: Decision support problem identification and formulation. Design mapping vs. evaluation mapping. Multi-attribute vs. multi-objective approach for decision making in concept design. Selection among efficient solutions. Formulation of the ship or ship structure mathematical module in the decision-making system. Practical applications to overall ship design and ship structural design.
