Sažetak
A great number of traffic accidents in which pedestrians are the victims requires imperatively an analysis of such situations in order to enable: to reduce, if possible, the number of accidents, if this is impossible, to reduce the number of the killed or of the severely injured, and to provide a mathematical system by means of which the relevant parameters before, during and after a collision might be determined. When making the reconstruction of a traffic accident involving an automobile and a pedestrian, the expert uses the results of the researches performed in the relevant institutions, where experiments with real automobiles and anthropological dummies are carried out the researches made by medical institutions in respect to the kind and size of injuries occurred to the participants in car accidents, and the description of real car accidents in which at least some of the parameters decisive for the car accident course can be determined with certainty. Some researches, in our country as well as abroad, based on the study of a large number of real accidents and carried out with the aim to get the answers to the questions which should clarify a traffic accident, led to the valuable knowledges.
