Sažetak
Socio-political relations in the world had an essential impact on the development of management of human potential, as well as comprehensive technical and technological progress. However, the genesis of the management of human potential differs from country to country, and also from one time interval to the next. Management of human potential in all the developed countries has risen to the level of a strategic business philosophy. It has become a separate scientific discipline, a modern business philosophy and a basic managerial function. Its role is to render support to operative and functional managers in the realization of their ultimate goals – accomplishment of business excellence. Its constituent elements: evolution, role, meaning and function are deliberated in this paper.
