Sažetak
Since voice is dependent on aging process we tried to determine the histology, histochemical and ultrastructurall changes in Reinke's space responsible for such acoustical phenomenon. We visited Old men dormitories in Zagreb and made laryngeal and acoustical investigations of the examinees. Parallely we collected human cadaver larynxes from Phorensic Institute Zagreb School of Medicine and analyzed them histologicaly. Also same vocal fold samples were taken from older patients during laryngomiscroscopical procedures. The results of this research suggested that acoustical structure of aging voice is changed as well as histological, histochemical and ultrastructural characteristics of Reinke's space.
