Sažetak
The collections of recent malaofauna on the Croatian Natural History Museum i Zagreb excel i quality and quantity. However, they are inadequately housed and also are subject to being moved frequently. Most of the collections is subject to fluctuating environmental conditions and dust and other pollutants from visitor traffic. The mollusk shells also show damage in the form of white crystals coating their surface, a process whose last stages lead to complete destruction of the shells.
