Sažetak
The present report is based on the Assessment of Information Needs and Evaluation of Existing and Proposed Information Systems which was used as a beackground information for the UNDP/GEF Danube River Basin Information System Workshop held in March 23-25. 1998. in Baden (Austria). The results of this report shall support in particular the activities of the ICPDR in conceptualizing and developing a comprehensive Danube Information Network. Furthermore communicartion on environmental aspects and reinforcement of public awareness building should be stimulated in the Danube Region
