Sažetak
There are about 200 aphid species registered in Croatia. The investigation of aphid fauna in the period 1996-1998 was conducted using two methods: yellow water trap (YWT) and Rothamsted suction trap (RST) situated in Zagreb. Total number of caught and identified aphid species in this period was 28.193 individues, related to 83 aphid species. From 64 aphid species found in YWT, 6 were not found in RST and from 77 species identified in RST 19 were not found in YWT. There are 22 new aphid species established in Croatia in this investigation of which 9 species were identified by Igrc Barcic in 1980ties (unpublished), and 13 species were identified for the first time. In yellow water trap there were 2 eudominant (Drepanosiphum platanoidis, Phorodon humuli), 2 dominant (Phyllaphis fagi, Rhopalosiphum padi), 5 subdominant, 3 recent and 52 subrecent species. In RST there were 2 eudominant (Phorodon humuli, Pterocallis alni), 2 dominant (Appendiseta robiniae, Rhopalosiphum padi), 3 subdominant, 6 recent and 62 subrecent aphid species. According to the frequency in yellow water trap, Drepanosiphum platanoidis was euconstant, while all other were accidental. In RST all aphid species were accidental.
