Sažetak
Important motives for the implementation of a quality system in construction companies, which should result in fulfilment of standards requirements, are minimizing malfunctions, additional work, injuries or property loss. According to HRN EN ISO 9001:2002 standard, the quality management system of a construction company comprises the clear definition of quality system’ s aim and purpose along with setting up of documented and recognizable company structure, quality policy which ensures quality of products and services, the way that quality policy aims and plans are introduced to all employees, review of basic principles of the quality management and fulfilment of quality plans, and implementation of internal audits that may indicate potential problems. Quality system of the construction company enables better company management, better relation with customers, solving the procedural problems and increased consistency in production. The implementation and execution of the quality system measures, which are defined in company quality documentation, are one of the conditions for reaching required properties of a construction project’ s product – a structure.
