Sažetak
The paper woll explore the current phases of the Croatian historiography of folk music as the part of ethnomusicology in Croatia. A necessary effort should be undertaken for the research of the position of the Croatian ethnomusicology in the 1. Croatian society after y. 1945 (as the time of the new organization of the scientific work) ; 2. Croatian musicological-etthnomusicological institutions (or institutions were disciplines were investigated) ; 3. The new scientific orientations after the influences by Herman Bausinger, the German ethnologist. The paper will show the very important influences made by John Blacking through his works. These impacts have been strongly connected with subjects and directions of which the content will be explained through the activities and results made by contemporaries-ethnomusicologists (in the point 3. of the proposed plan) and which correspond with generally new development of the ethnomusicology in Croatia.
