Sažetak
The ecological catastrophe due to the sinking of a tanker near the spanish coast, the major incident near the Gibraltar, the gulf crisis, in creased prices for the raw oil have lately been some pieces of disturbing news. The most of transport and farming vehicles use fuel gained from the raw oil the resources of which can last fro the maximum of forty years. The mentioned facts are the only some of the reasons named by the European union members in order to issue a regulation for the obligatory substitution of the standard kinds of fuel for the alternative kinds of fuel totalling 12%. The most favourable production of the biodiesel fuel for the countries of the Middle Europe is the one based on the oil gained from the rape. In order to incease the production and the consumptionof the biodiesel fuel in CRoatia the researches have been made on the influence of the working characteristics as well as the parts of the diesel engines.
