Sažetak
Since september 2001. we have performed 9 liver transplantations. We had 5 male and 4 female patients, age from 10 months to 15 years. Indications for transplantation were biliary atresia (3), choledochal cyst (2), cryptogenic hepatal cirrhosis (1), alfa-1 antitrypsin deficiency (1), PFIC type I (1) and Sy Crigler-Najjar type I (1). Four of our patients had undergone surgery, Kasai– operation, before transplantation. There were five cadaveric and four living-related liver transplantations. We had eight segmental and one orthotopic, whole liver transplantation. Several postoperative surgical interventions were indicated. Indications were various, from hemorrhage, stenosis or trombosis of anastomosis (vascular or biliodigestive), formation of biloma, subphrenical abscessus and pleural empyema to obstructive ileus. Three of our patients died. Other six patients are regulary followed-up and doing well (follow-up period ranging from 3 to 30 months).
