Sažetak
The goal of this paper is to present the modeling of agent-based Quality of Service (QoS) management layer that provides realization of end-to-end QoS to a user application. Such a QoS management layer represents multi-agent system comprised of collaborating Intelligent Agents (IAs) with layered architecture that ensure guaranteed QoS offered by multi-service communication networks according to Service Level Agreements (SLAs) among users and service providers. The challenges and opportunities associated with a modeling of multi-agent system for QoS management are discussed. It is shown that the applied agent-based QoS management layer provides transformation of current communication networks toward a multi-service ubiquitous infrastructure with a unified QoS management architecture.
