Sažetak
The main goal of this paper is to present the structural and functional characteristics of agent-based framework for Quality of Service (QoS) management. Such a framework is an environment composed of Intelligent Agents (IAs) that ensure guaranteed QoS offered by Wide Area Networks (WANs) according to Service Level Agreements (SLAs) among users and service providers. A layered agent architecture that supports flexible and adaptive behavior as well as collaboration among the intelligent agents is proposed using software patterns. It is shown that the applied patterns enhance flexible autonomous behavior of agents.
