Sažetak
The improvement of the quality of healthcare by use of the modern information and communication technologies is today one of the most important issues. There are many initiatives and projects, especially supported by EU e-Health program. It refers to the use of modern information and communication technologies to meet the needs of citizens, patients, healthcare professionals, healthcare providers, as well as policy makers. This paper describes solution for Primary Healthcare Information System in Croatia, developed to meet system requirements set by Ministry of Health. It gives short introduction into e-Health area, technical description of the system, development environment and software quality model, and describes possibilities for further system development and improvements.
